Cross Mountain is a documentary about eight young people who joined 50,000 pilgrims from around the world for a week-long Youth Festival in Medjugorje, Bosnia Herzegovina.
What draws them there? And what do they experience?
People have been visiting Medjugorje ever since local children first reported visions of the Virgin Mary in 1981.
Stella Mar Films documented eight young people as they experienced a personal encounter of faith that would impact the rest of their lives.
Stella Mar Films has been working on the documentary Cross Mountain since it was filmed in 2015 and the team continued to capture footage until 2022. The global impact of Medjugorje is shown as the team filmed on location in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Scotland, Italy, Uganda, and the USA.

We premiered the film in Omaha, Nebraska in February over three nights of screenings. Over 700 people came out to see the film and the response was inspiring. Our Lady is touching people's hearts and bring hope to all Her children, especially young adults like the people featured in the film.
