Where There Is Darkness meets Medjugorje

Movie

We recently held the first European showing of our new film Where There Is Darkness in Mostar, near Medjugorje.

The cinema was full of locals from Medjugorje as well visitors from other countries, and when the film ended, there were few dry eyes in the theater... but also lots of smiles.

Mirjana

We were thrilled that the visionary Mirjana Soldo came from Medjugorje to see the movie with her family. She told us that she loved the film, especially its message of forgiveness and God's love, and that she has been thinking about it for day.

Also at the showing was Pete Starr, the "faithiest" from our previous film, Apparition Hill. He was visiting Medjugorje for his fifth time!

Immaculee Ilibagiza, the bestselling author whose story of forgiveness has spread throughout the world, also came to see the film.

Filmmakers Sean Bloomfield and Cimela Kidonakis of Stella Mar Films were excited to present the film alongside two of the co-producers: Emily Black from Craig Lodge in Scotland, and Jozo Ivankovic from Foto Dani in Medjugorje.

Fr. Rene Robert, the subject of our film, had made several pilgrimages to Medjugorje in his lifetime, so we felt it was fitting to have the first European showing near the village.

Now is the time to bring Where There Is Darkness to your town! Learn more.
