Designed by filmmaker, Cimela Kidonakis. There is a Latin American tradition, and as a child, Cimela would place her shoes by the door the night before January 6th - The Epiphany of the church calendar, the 12 day after Christmas, when the Magi arrived bearing gifts for baby Jesus.

That morning Cimela along with her siblings would receive gifts by her shoes, brought by the three kings, Melchor, Gaspar, and Baltazar. Her father would often quiz them on the names of the three wisemen. This was a fun tradition and a great way to remember the journey the three kings made to visit the newborn King.
